I’ll be in Paris this week if anyone is nearby. Part 2 of Taking My Time, a mini retrospective of sorts, will open the evening of January 12, and I’ll be there to say hello.

I’m sad to be missing you by mere weeks. But for how long will your work be on exhibit?
Speaking of your work … I’ve been meaning to comment on “Seeing Things,” which I bought for my niece as a holiday gift and ended up keeping. (Don’t worry; I’ll get her a copy for her birthday instead.) It is SUPERB, Joel. Not only is it a master class in photography, but it’s also helped me see and appreciate some favorite images in a new light. THANK YOU.
