Room Tone
There’s an expression in filmmaking called room tone which is when the sound person asks for quiet so that the quiet of the room, the tone that exists in it, can be saved to used to fill any gaps in the sound.
This room gave off a tone to me the minute I entered it. The cloth , this simple ragg-y thing, set the whole room to its presence, and a mighty thing it was.
It is a sacred tone to me because that rag reminds me of a walking Holy Week’s nazareno with his hood and candle. The subject of your picture is not a piece of cloth but a moment of intimacy.

Jose, it’s true how you put it! I had a strong sense of a religious garment when I saw the figure of it on the wall. An ancient echo probably from all the Renaissance paintings that have accumulated in my mental library.
